Rushmoor in Bloom Each summer, we provide Rushmoor Borough Council with our open top bus number 406 for use in the final judging of 'Rushmooor in Bloom' – the borough's annual flower and garden celebration. Starting from the council offices in Farnborough, the bus initially makes its way around the Aldershot district. Judges travel on board, inspecting and marking the various colourful properties as the journey progresses. After a pause for lunch, the party makes its way back for the Farnborough area inspections. In July 2009, the mayor of Rushmoor Borough Council came along and is seen here with the estate manager of Farnborough Sixth Form College – one of the many establishments, large and small, which take part in the competition.
